Open Combine FAQ
Before You
Register.
Who can register?
The event is planned for youth basketball athletes ages 12–18. Final age-band groupings used for scheduling and leaderboards will be published with the live registration.
Do I need a DASHR Player Profile?
Yes. ACT uses the DASHR ecosystem for athlete profiles, testing data and results. Athletes should create their Player Profile before event day.
Is this a tryout?
No. The event is a performance-testing combine. Results can support development and athlete records, but the event does not replace team tryouts or game evaluation.
Can athletes test again at future ACT events?
Yes. Testing at future events is a core benefit because athletes and families can compare new results against prior performance and evaluate progress over time.
When will the registration fee be posted?
The registration fee will be published when registration opens. The exact date and venue will be posted on this page at the same time.
